I'm a scholar; I enjoy scholarly pursuits. If you know where the previous sentence came from, I think we're going to be friends.
In all honesty, though, I am pretty scholarly. I like people who are also scholarly, and people with whom I can spar in intelligent debate and conversation. I have a university degree, but I don't get to use it during my day job. Music is my boyfriend, in case you were wondering, and right now, the music on my tags reflects what I'm in love with right now.
I devour books, independent and foreign films, and, surprisingly enough, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) ohnotheydidnt. I hold double-standards, so don't judge...but I might.

| a little bit about me:
- 23-year-old bitch. I may not always be right, but I will judge.
- I love sleeping.
- I'm a total grammar Nazi.
- Every time I watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I want to dye my hair. I've acted on the urge twice.
- I started naming inanimate objects about two years ago, and now I can't stop, even though I know it's stupid. Most of my things have Italian names.
- I'm mostly Italian. More than half.
- Right now, I'm in to Sufjan's music. But I love a lot more than that.
- I'm a photographer right now, but I'm mostly an anthropologist and journalist.
- I kind of miss school right now. I should go to grad school.

I started an LJ so I could be uninhibited in my writing. I wanted privacy from the people I know, and instead bring in people what would offer me objectivity. So you could say I'm being semi-anonymous. You can find me on MySpace, but it's private.
